The Journal was initiated in 1995 by The University of Idaho - Wilderness Research Center, The WILD Foundation and Fulcrum Publishing. The new IJW website, hosted by The WILD Foundation, provides free, downloadable archive editions of the Journal, and select articles for current issues (published within the past 2 years).
